The bio-mechanical beings of the Vrozlydian Empire have decided to leave the Imperial realm. Both former slave robotic creatures with human brains and their offspring, abducted humans with artificial brains, have decided of their own free will by consensus vote to leave their homes and travel the stars. They have also decided to all be known as Synthetics, a unified bio-mechanical race, with no distinction in rights or privileges between the two. One incredibly large ship, named Relonix, has been constructed and will embark on its voyage to a planet found to be acceptable for colonization by Synthetic astronomers.

This planet, known as ZK4444, a name bestowed upon it by Vrozlydian astronomers in homage to His Imperial Majesty Zebulon Kosted, has been known about for millennia but has been until now well beyond the traveling capabilities of the Empire. The Synthetics have invented a new form of travel to more efficiently fold space, traveling within seconds from one place to another many light years away. This technology within the Empire has been used by individuals, rarely, to travel across space, but never large crafts. The Synthetics have renamed this new world Synthos.

The Emperor has surprised all his subjects by giving this mission his blessing. Publicly it has been stated that he wishes his former slaves a safe journey and prosperous future. However, this is but a ruse meant to lull the Synthetics into believing his intentions benevolent. Without the knowledge of even his closest military advisors he has sent a Synthetic traitor into their midst with a well tested but never before tactically deployed planet destroying device. It has been implanted in the traitors body and will be triggered by this suicide bomber the moment the craft touches down on the new world.

A message will be broadcast moments before explosion stating something has gone wrong with entry of the Relonix into the Synthos atmosphere. All evidence, including the planet itself, will be destroyed in the blast. No trace of the Synthetics, their ship, or their world will be allowed continued existence by the Emperor. The traitor is a fully automated robot with an inactive human brain. A second robot minder, also disguised as a Synthetic, has been sent without the knowledge of the first to make sure the deed is done...but can they be trusted to not be discovered or coerced to the side of the Synthetics...

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
